Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been a director, actress as well as a producer, playwright, and teacher at St. Thomas University. Her father hails from Britain as does her mother, who is an "Turkish Cypriot-English expat." Anna's first memories of attending rehearsals for play and watching her mother's work. Anna was a part of numerous commercials in her early years. In the month of November, 1999 Anna moved to Toronto in order to further develop her acting career. She eventually shifting to Los Angeles, California, within the next decade. Seth Cooperman, whom she had met in a Los Angeles actors' workshop at the end of 2007, became her husband in the year 2009. Anna was a convert to Judaism in the year before and Seth Cooperman got married in December of 2010 in Fredericton. In April 2011 the couple renewed their wedding vows by having an Jewish ceremony.
