She made her acting debut by appearing in Imtiaz's Rockstar opposite Ranbir Kapoor, in 2011. Mona Ghosh Shetty dubbed her voice to make up for her lack of Hindi ability. Nargis Fakhri, born October 20th, 1979 was her mother's daughter. Mohammed Fakhri, and Marie Fakhri. She is the younger sibling of Aliya Fakhri. Her mother Marie Fakhri and father Mohammed Fakhri are both from Czech. The couple divorced when she was only 7 years old. Her father died a few years following the divorce. Marie Fakhri, her mother is a former police officer. Nargis thinks of herself as an Global Citizen because of her mixed ethnicity between Pakistani and Czechs as well as her American citizenship. Fakhri began modeling when she was 16.
